Wow

To say I love my kids is, to me, stating the obvious. There are moments (random moments) however, where I become completely overwhelmed for how much love I have for them...to the point where my heart feels like it could explode.

Parenting is truly the hardest job...I'm constantly analyzing if I'm doing the right things for the boys, but for as hard as it is, I would never want to give it up.

I'm so truly blessed.

Do you see what I see?

Is that a hot wheels in my blind?

2 lost teeth in the same night (this picture really only shows 1, the other tooth was lost on the left side on the bottom)

A perfect Saturday

The title says it all. Yesterday was perfect.

** I ran 5 miles and completed my second week of training for the half marathon.

** The boys and I enjoyed an afternoon in downtown Lee's Summit witnessing the Emerald Isle parade.

** We got to meet Baby Tillie..Oh man too cute for words. She is so little and so cute. She is 2 months old today and weighs 7 lbs 5 oz.

Here are pictures from the parade:

Of course a little lunch before the parade.

Yeah....the start is here.
Lots of candy was thrown to the participants

Sweet Mac...Helped his little brother not get trampled by the bigger kids trying to get the candy.

Of course...more candy.

Weekend Wrap up

Well, I suppose we have a few hours left on this Sunday but I have a few minutes so I'll compose our wrap up. Our weekend consisted of the following:

1. Snow....lots of it (4+ inches...the most we've had this winter. Just so you know, they are calling for it to be 70 on Wednesday. We'll see if it comes to fruition. )

2. Basketball, basketball. Mac's Presentation team played in a tournament this weekend and really for the first time, battled some stiff competition. The team finished the weekend 1-2.

3. Trip to Blockbuster and McDonald's. Perfect way to spend the evening with the boys. Scooby Doo video and Wii Music.

4. KU vs MU. SWEET VICTORY for the Jayhawks at Allen Field house. ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!

Looking forward to Brothers and Sisters tonight. It's a 2 hour show...Seriously can't wait. I thought it was supposed to be on last Sunday, but those darn Oscars! :)

Can you believe it's March 1st?
